NBA FINALS 2025
INDIANA PACERS VS OKC THUNDER
After a pulsating series with the New York Knicks, the Indiana Pacers have reached the NBA Finals for the second time in franchise history and the first time in twenty-five years. Standing in the Pacers way of a maiden NBA championship are the heavily favoured Oklahoma City Thunder.
OKC themselves are on the hunt for history, the franchise is looking for it’s first championship since 1979, when the Thunder were known as the Seattle SuperSonics!
Either way, one city is going to be celebrating it’s first NBA Championship very soon!
UK NBA FINALS GAME SCHEDULE:
Game 1: Pacers 111-110 Thunder – Friday 6th June, 1:30AM
Game 2: Pacers at Thunder – Monday 9th June, 1:00AM
Game 3: Thunder at Pacers – Thursday 12th June, 1:30AM
Game 4: Thunder at Pacers – Saturday 14th June, 1:30AM
Game 5: Pacers at Thunder – Tuesday 17th June, 1:30AM
Game 6: Thunder at Pacers – Friday 20th June, 1:30AM
Game 7: Pacers at Thunder – Monday 23rd June, 1:00AM
SELECTION: OKC THUNDER TO WIN SERIES – 1/3*
*Price correct as of 06/06/25
A key reason why the Thunder are so short for the title despite dropping Game 1, is the form of newly crowned NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC will be hoping he can cap off a magical season with a stellar performance in the finals.
The Thunder arrive in the finals off the back of comfortable playoff victories over the Minnesota Timberwolves & Memphis Grizzlies, however it took them until Game 7 to see off Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
After dropping Game 1 – 111-110, the Thunder will be hoping to bounce back in Game 2 and head to Indiana with the series level pegging. If the Pacers can get a second win on the board in Game 2, this series instantly becomes a lot closer than the Casino Kings current odds suggest!
However, we are expecting Shai Gilgeous Alexander and OKC to claim Game 2 on the way to a comfortable series victory.

The second grand slam of the year draws to a close over this weekend and the ladies final is first up on Saturday! Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka is aiming for a maiden French Open title, completing a third major win in a row.

2023: Iga Swiatek
2022: Iga Swiatek
2021: Barbora Krejcikova
2020: Iga Swiatek
SELECTION: ARYNA SABALENKA (1/2)
After winning the US Open in September of last year to claim a maiden major victory, Sabalenka quickly doubled up after the turn of the year by winning the Australian Open at Albert Park.

With the last two available majors under the number one seeds belt, Sabalenka’s been in ominous form in the lead up the latter stage of the tournament, not dropping a set and claiming victories top 15 seeds Amanda Anisimova and Qinwen Zhang.
A potential danger is Coco Gauff, the American has also been in excellent form in the French capital. After picking up her first major tournament victory on home soil in 2023, Gauff will be hoping to end an 18 month wait for her second major.

EPSOM DERBY
SATURDAY 7th JUNE 3.30PM ITV1
After the premier race for fillies on the Friday, the attention turns to the three-year old colts on Epsom Derby Saturday! After winning three of the last five runnings of this race, the eye is drawn automatically to Aidan O’Brien’s battalion
Previous Winners:
2024: City of Troy – 3/1F
2023: Auguste Rodin – 9/2
2022: Desert Crown – 5/2F
2021: Adayar – 16/1
2020: Serpentine – 25/1
This year, the star trainer saddles Delacroix (currently 5/2* with Casino Kings) and The Lion in Winter (6/1* currently with Casino Kings) in a bid to make it an Epsom Derby hattrick.
SELECTION: THE LION IN WINTER TO WIN THE EPSOM DERBY (6/1)
Many live contenders stand in the way of the O’Brien pair, none more prominent in the betting than recent 2000 Guineas winner Ruling Court. The Godolphin classic winner has strong form in the book, including beating Irish 2000 Guineas winner Field of Gold however doubts over the colts stamina has him second in the market.
Another viable threat is Pride of Arras, the Ralph Beckett trained three-year old is unbeaten on both of his two previous starts and will be ridden by red hot jockey Rossa Ryan who famously claimed Arc victory late last year. Pride of Arras can be backed at Casino Kings currently at 5/1.

Despite yet another competitive renewal of Epsom Derby’s most famous race, we are siding with Aiden O’Brien to make it a trio of wins on the bounce.
Despite saddling favourite Delacroix, we are siding with the less favoured O’Brien runner THE LION IN WINTER. Beaten by Pride of Arras last time out, however it’s not uncommon for an O’Brien horse to run poorly on seasonal debut. At 6/1, here at Casino Kings we’re backing the three-year old to bounce back and take the prestigious race at Epsom, but check out the full odds and chose your punt for the winner.
ANDORRA VS ENGLAND

SELECTION: HARRY KANE TO SCORE TWO OR MORE (EVENS)
England have enjoyed a week in Barcelona in preparation for their first of two June fixtures, with many of the squad seen at the Formula 1 last weekend. England will be expecting to keep their 100% record under Tuchel intact against Andorra who are currently rated as 151st in the FIFA World Rankings.
Due to the staggering gap in ranking between these two sides, everyone with a vested interest in the English national team will be expecting a comfortable victory with plenty of goals to go with it. England’s captain and record goal scorer Harry Kane is sitting pretty on 71 international goals, one thing’s for certain, Kane will be looking to add to his tally against the minnows on Saturday with at least a brace.

FRENCH OPEN 2025 MEN
MEN’S FINAL – 2PM SUNDAY 8TH JUNE
After years of grand slam domination by the big four, new boys Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have burst onto the scene and quickly co-stamped their dominance on the male scene.
French Open Previous Winners:
2024: Carlos Alcaraz
2023: Novak Djokovic
2022: Rafael Nadal
2021: Novak Djokovic
2020: Rafael Nadal
SELECTION: JANNIK SINNER (6/4)
Due to Rafael Nadal’s dominance of this tournament which included fourteen titles at Roland Garros, the French Open seemed an impossible tournament to win for most players.

Since Nadal’s retirement, the tournament has seemingly opened up. Front running contenders include defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, legendary figure Novak Djokovic and current world number one Jannik Sinner.
Since returning from a ban, Sinner has been on tiptop form, not dropping a set until the last eight of the tournament. However, following a defeat to Carlos Alcaraz in the final of a warmup event in Sinner’s home country of Italy, he knows to claim the French crown, he will have to beat his old adversary.
Stay tuned for next week where we will look back and review our selections from a packed week of tennis, football, horse racing and basketball! We will also look ahead to another exciting seven days of sport!
Have a great week all from everyone at Casino Kings!
